Welcome to Croydon and thank you for the interest you have shown in the opportunity of Strategic Reward Lead.

This is a genuinely exciting time to join the Workforce Strategy team and be part of the wider HR and OD team as we continue our journey to transform our service and modernise with the aim of becoming a strategic partner to the organisation, where our work enables the council’s workforce to achieve their best for our residents.

Supporting the transformation of the organisation, we are making significant investment in workforce development through our ambitious and visionary Future Croydon Transformation Plan. In this newly created role, as Strategic Reward Lead, you will play a critical focus on the strategic pay and reward agenda and supporting the council’s transformation.

As the Head of Workforce Strategy, I am looking for a Strategic Reward professional who brings excellent analytical skills, possesses specialist experience within a large-scale Pay and Reward programme, demonstrates creativity and innovation, thrives in a busy environment, and seizes the opportunity to shape people management to deliver the best services for our residents.
